WHAT IS EDUDER?
Mission and Objectives
MISSION
Our goal at EDUDER is to provide tools to institutions and students that can help reduce inequalities and social gaps within each country, as well as between Latin America and Europe. Our aim is to provide quality education that is accessible to everyone, which will ultimately lead to the elimination of inequalities.
VISION
At EDUDER, we aim to align with the goals and priorities of our partners by ensuring that vulnerable groups are included in education. Our objective is to improve access to and the quality of education through the implementation of initiatives at both national and international levels.
VALUES
- Inclusion
- Equity
- Innovation
- Quality
- International Cooperation
The EDUDER project aims to create structures through which to implement an intervention model, by promoting inclusive practices and removing barriers that allow Ibero-American countries to advance in ensuring real opportunities for the full exercise of the right to quality university education for all, without exclusions.
Through the implementation of inclusive practices and the removal of barriers to university education entry and graduation, the aim is to contribute actions that strengthen academic pathways and the overall well-being of the student community, especially those students affected by greater structural and academic barriers, which place them in vulnerable conditions.
THE ROLE OF INSTITUTIONS
It is the institutions that must reduce and, if possible, eliminate these barriers through the implementation of policies and practices aimed at ensuring university admission, continuity, and graduation, as well as the subsequent integration into society and the labor market.
Access to university is an essential part of the right to education, but it is also important to ensure student retention and support internship processes and job search efforts, especially when access barriers are related to factors such as gender, ethnicity, or functional diversity, among others.
