EDUDER and the Network of National Human Rights Institutions of the American Continent (RINDHCA) are advancing in the implementation of the Memorandum of Agreement signed in November 2025, aimed at strengthening human rights education in Ibero-America through cooperation between universities and National Human Rights Institutions (NHRIs).
In this context, a series of working meetings were held in Mexico City in January 2026 to define a joint roadmap to operationalize the agreement and consolidate mechanisms for academic and institutional collaboration.

Among the main areas of joint work is the strengthening of human rights observatories and the promotion of an Ibero-American Observatory on Human Rights Education, conceived as a space for convergence between academia and NHRIs to identify shared priorities, exchange good practices, and contribute to public policies with a human rights-based approach across the region.
